MUSIC AND THE BRAIN

Greetings! I watched this news report from CBS news the other day and felt it was important enough to put on my website. It is about a program in NYC and New Orleans that teaches classroom piano to kids that probably don't have a piano of their own. Its focus is to develop the student as a whole person and was inspired by a Newsweek article from 1996 that I remember handing out copies of to my student's parents.
